Storywise, DMC 1 and 3 had a narrative of Sparda throughout the game, which made the game very interesting. DMC 5 didn’t have that narrative. It was all just a mystery and confusion, putting puzzles together to figure out the story. And it wasn’t really told to us players forthright. The story is still good though.
Style points in DMC 5. So there is this thing that's kinda bugging me about how the game rates your style. I mean, to get the higher style score, switch up combos, weapons and attacks, I get that part, but what I kinda don't get is what is important, reaching a high rating, maintaining it for a long time during one fight, or finishing the
All in all, the game is an extremely fun one, with amazing graphics and gameplay, and some witty humor and fan service throughout, but it might only be suitable for older teens due to it's semi-complex gameplay and more mature content. This title has: Too much violence. Too much swearing.
Basically "connects" you with other players who're playing the game online. You can see them but you can't really interact, beyond rating their performance at the end. Rate enough times and you'll get a gold orb. resevil67 (Topic Creator) 4 years ago #3.

As you can see both of your thumbs have to do five input in a split of second, but with
DMC 5's story is just a lot of fan service and a conclusion to the series potentially. #3. The Lash Of Spanking Jul 14, 2022 @ 7:57am. Also if you play other DMC games. Don't play DMC 2. Just pretend it doesn't exist. It's horrible and contributes absolutely nothing to the series outside of the extended universe.
DMC 2 is DMC 2, less said the better. DMC 4 is unfinished and can be extremly frustrating. Play 3 or 5 as your first. 5 is the best, 4 is decent, 3 is just dmc5 without free camera which makes it annoying, 2 is actually decent aside from the godawful bosses, and dmc1 is dmc3 without any styles.
Play at least 3 > 4 > 5 and then go really deep into 5. 3 is really strong, but way more aged (like 1). 4 was rushed in production and is lacking in some parts, but modern and really good in other parts.
